We are living in a time of change; a time that would seem pure fantasy to our forefathers of the early 1900. Along with the modern lifestyle comes the problems of waste; much of which is damaging to the wildlife and their habitat.
In Return of the Raven we face some of these problems. Through the eyes of a raven we see some of the damage done by man. When the spirits discover a new disciple they unite with Raven to purify a coastal river before the salmon return.
Sue Coleman is a renowned West Coast artist who has earned international recognition for her distinctive watercolours that are collected by discerning buyers worldwide. Her knowledge of the folklore of the Pacific Northwest, along with her wonderful sense of humour, gives us a window into the world of a common raven, who accidentally does the first transformation in recent history. The trouble is he has absolutely no idea how he did it.
